About the Journal

The SPED Journal of Vocational and Technical Education (SPEJOVTED) is a biennial peer-reviewed scholarly journal committed to advancing research, innovation, and practice in vocational and technical education as a driver of economic empowerment and self-reliance.

SPEJOVTED provides a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate empirical studies, theoretical papers, and case studies that bridge theory and practice. The journal publishes original work in Agricultural Education, Business Education, Home Economics, Fine and Applied Arts, Technical Education, Entrepreneurship, and other areas that promote technical competency, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods.

Our mission is to spotlight research that solves real problems from youth unemployment and curriculum relevance to digital skills, agribusiness training, and enterprise development. SPEJOVTED is where scholarship meets the workshop, the studio, and the enterprise, fostering multidisciplinary discourse for national and global socio-economic growth.

Target audience: Educators, researchers, curriculum developers, industry trainers, graduate students, and education policymakers passionate about skills-based education and innovation.
